HDR
The images shown here are a unique post production tectnique called High Dynamic Range.
They are formed with multiple exposures of the same image merged together to create a single image with extreme details in all aspects of the photograph from the shadows to the highlights.
They show a more realistic representation of what the eye can see but can often create an interesting effect which makes them look more like a painting.
